By using our website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What the site is

SynthID Pass publishes information about SynthID and related content provenance technology, and is building a tool for SynthID-marked media. The tool is not available yet. Nothing on the site processes your files.

Information, not advice

Guides are written from public sources linked in the text and dated. Products and policies change; we may be out of date. Nothing on the site is legal advice.

Acceptable use

You may not use our website or, once available, the tool to:

• present AI-generated media as authentic recordings of real people or events in order to deceive;
• break a law, including rules that require you to disclose AI-generated content;
• break the terms of a platform where you publish, or of a detection service such as Google's SynthID Detector;
• process media you do not have the right to use.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We make no promise that any content is complete, or that any file will or will not be flagged by any detector.

Trademarks

SynthID Pass is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC or Google DeepMind. SynthID, Gemini, Imagen, Veo and Lyria are Google products, named here only to describe them.
